Fairisle Crofthoose Hat

Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Class Fee: $30

Learn the beauty of color work with this stylish intermediate hat pattern.

Yarn Culture has this beautiful hat already done up in kits for $50. You can request a color way and they will make it up for you! Just call ahead and order your custom combination.

If you have colors in your stash you would like to use, the pattern can be purchased on Ravelry.

Introduction to Blocking

Sat., February 10, 1-3pm

Level: All levels

Class Fee: $25

Learn to make those beautiful shawls really shine with wet blocking using blocking wires and pins. Be prepared to take notes. Tina will demonstrate her technique of wet blocking shawls so that they show off all the·beautiful knitting you’ve done. She will also demonstrate how to block a sweater.·

Introduction to Brioche

Sat., March 10th, 1-4 pm

Level: Intermediate and up

Class Fee: $30

Want to learn how to diversify your knitting by integrating·color and contrast ·- making even the most average knitted item new and exciting? Learn two color brioche·with this small hat project that will help you learn the basics of two color brioche. No need to be familiar with single color brioche. Pattern will be provided in class.


Supply List

125 yds each, of·two contrasting colors DK (#3) weight yarn

US #2, 16" circular needle

US #4, 16” circular needle


 

Ready, Set, Oops

Sat., March 17th, 1-4 pm

Level: Intermediate and up

Class Fee: $30

This class will help you read your knitting, learn why gauge is important, fix some basic knitting mistakes, and how to put the stitches back on your needle in the right direction. Homework needs to be completed for this class.

Cast on 24 stitches

2" in Stockinette stitch (Knit one row, Purl one row)

2" in K2, P2 Ribbing
